Sweet potatoe casserole recipe
Butter casserole dish. Mix together:
- 4 cups of cooked sweet potatoes
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
- ¼ cup butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- ½ cup sugar
Place in casserole and top with the following mixture:
- ¼ cup soft butter
- ¾ cup brown sugar (In Sweden we use "brun farin")
- 3 tablespoons flour
- ½ cup nuts (walnuts or pecans)
Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30 to 40 minutes uncovered.
